We Always Knew....

Love is never gone. As we travel on Love is what we remember.... Kiss today Goodbye Point me toward tomorrow Won't forget Can't regret What I did for Love. Lyrics written by Edward Kleban and music by Marvin Hamlisch from the final emotional beat of the show A Chorus Line sung before the final Dancers are selected for the show.

"Grit Your Teeth and Make a Comeback."

One of my mentors Ted Turner shared a bit more of his story on Oprah Winfrey's MASTER CLASS on her OWN CHANNEL... A great man. A great visionary. A great integrity of purpose. Ted Turner has had much success as well as his share of failure. Watch as he describes his most exciting accomplishment (CNN) and what he calls one of the worst mistakes ever made in business (the AOL-Time Warner merger). Ted describes the year he lost 80 percent of his fortune, lost his job, ended his marriage to Jane Fonda and lost a grandchild—and why he vowed to make a comeback.

Dare to be Different

Choose to see things differently and take any light bulb moment of truth to change the story you've created. To get help. To share yourself. To move from fear to love, from insecure to joyful, from ill will to well wishes. You can choose in this moment to open yourself up to the possibility of being happier today than you were yesterday, to be the change necessary so you are delivered from whatever your current circumstance into peace and Love. Simply by choosing to be awake. Believe it. Have faith in the beautiful process of nature and the seasons in our lives. Remember backwards or forward doesn't matter, what does is being who you are in all its magnificence right now!

Mel talks Standing Naked at Mystic Journey Bookstore...

Just before the end of last year I got a gift of Pablo Neruda Full Woman, Fleshly Apple. Hot Moon. selected poems. The cool thing about this selection is it had the original Spanish on one side and the English translation on the other. The book quickly opened to El Desnudo. I loved it. It vibrated with that intensity of recognition. In English it is quite simply Standing Naked. It sounds super sexy in Spanish El Desnudo. I love saying it. When it connected with my beginnings of wanting to become naked and unashamed in the garden of Eden to the truth of myself in the spaces of my heart in the arms of that which is divine. I said. Huh. Ok. I get it. Sat, March 3rd 7pm MEL TALKS STANDING NAKED (True Love & Intimacy) MYSTIC JOURNEY BOOKSTORE 1319 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Venice, California 90291
