There is no greater experience than that of waking up, in a full, all out, glorious rising and shining.  Say to the sun "Good Morning, Sun" and feel into all the beauty and love of that eternal source of energy that brings us this wonderful new day. There are many things that can bring us into the realm of darkness and in the deepest spaces of our lower thinking. But, each day when you wake up it is without a doubt an amazing opportunity to feel all the joy of a new day and take that deep breath and say IT IS GOING TO BE A GOOD DAY filled with love and peace and everything that brings me happiness.  Let that sun shine in and enjoy today and everyday with infinite love and gratitude. Lots of Love, Mel Enjoy Peggy Lee singing the best morning song ever written, full of optimism and love and truth… It’s a Good Day … Lyrics follow... Good Stuff... Mel reads Alice Walker... Taking a look at the inspiration of joy  Alice Walker has planted throughout her work... "What I think we miss is that understanding that this particular planet we are on, if you look closely and tend to it Earth was meant for Joy. As an artist, connect with that Joy and you will forever be fed by it.” — Alice Walker, Q&A/ ‘Beauty In Truth’ world premier at ‘Women Of the World’ Festival 2013, check out the talk Alice gave after the screening of a doc on her life.    http://youtu.be/UadveROnHHk Let our Joy be so triumphant that we rest in God and say Amen.  #Agape “HELPED are those who are content to be themselves; they will never lack mystery in their lives and the joys of self-discovery will be constant. Joy made manifest is love. In the coming weeks, as I work through the editorial process for  Vanessa by the Sea: No Matter What the Question Love Always Remains the Answer  thought it would be fun to share the joy of reading and releasing words onto the page, infusing them with love and spirit, (in some cases crafting) and in others leaving the jagged edge of inspiration untouched. May the days ahead bring more wisdom and insight and always Love as we practice untrammeled joy! Check out this ongoing series on SOUNDCLOUD!    In this reading on JOY from David Whyte's  Consolations  the poetic tradition expresses the threshold of joy so magnificently it can be felt on the page dredging deep insights into the heart of the soul's code. May Joy flourish in your heart and mind and may all your dreams find new light and new vibrations and new loves to grow into all they are meant to be!! Courage is the Practice of True Love...

Image
With courage no dream or scheme is impossible.  Make today a courageous day in true celebration of all the miracles and magic available with love. Courage brings you to the center of your truth. Maya Angelou talks in this clip from Youtube about Martin Luther King Jr. to future leaders... on  "Finding courage in the leaders, and you who will become leaders.  Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage you cannot practice the any of the other virtues consistently. You can't be consistently kind, human, etc... without courage." The way that we practice courage dictates the ways our heart sings its beautiful song.. As Eleanor Roosevelt said... “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” ―  Eleanor Roosevelt , ...
