In ancient times it was known that Coffee was a stimulant of original thought.  Boiled and brewed to bring with its warmth new insights and new ideas. The story of coffee goes back to Ethiopia when several Monks recognized Goats in the field became energized after feasting on the berries of this particular plant.  The Monks took this discover back to their monastery and the rest as they say is history. Coffee is one element of my daily activities that never disappoints.  It brings me joy and fills my heart with wonder for each new day. The idea of getting a group of friends together over a Sunday tea had started in the summer after a particularly channeled message of love from the cosmos to get our nearest and dearest together to open a dialogue. Growing up near Philadelphia, steeped in the Declaration of Independence and all its magic, the Fourth of July holiday is one of my favorites. I use this occasion to celebrate all the gifts that surround me and remember the intention of those who strove for a new way of seeing humanity. In freedom. Beyond tyranny. Our founding fathers gave us principles. principles of freedom. The first paragraph of the Declaration of Independence shouts out the most basic of all truths.... "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
