#LoveLand101 Share the Gifts You Have Been Given!

Image
Hello Strength.  Listen to your surroundings and find the sounds of joy.  Hear the sounds of Love that fill the world beating outward from the Earth's heart center. Take today to remember as Rumi wrote - 'Whatever I was looking for was always you.'  Every search begins and ends within, in the full presence of all light that is your essence.  Everywhere you look you are surrounded by the embrace of all that is divine.  Plant whatever seeds remind you of this truth.  Plant them in the hearts of your friends, in the minds of strangers and in the embrace of your loved ones. There is no greater miracle than to hear beyond the ears and to love with all your heart, radiating outward from source expanding creations power with each incredibly fortuitous breath of life. Today is the eve of humanities experience of divine light shining forth into consciousness.  We celebrate this night as the birth of Christ, as the birth of all that is.  It is a beautiful t...

Inequality Anywhere is a Threat to Equality Everywhere...

Image
I woke up this morning hearing the above words ringing in my head.  "Inequality Anywhere is a Threat to Equality Everywhere..." Of course, once I had my coffee and remembered the source of this thought, Martin Luther King's "Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere" from his Letter from Birmingham Jail, April 16, 1963 I understood you can not jail an idea, you can not jail the truth, chains do not stop an idea whose time has come.  An idea is stronger than any army. In holding the light with love you understand each action counts, each injustice matters and each time an act of separation and segregation and hatred takes place it is our job to not allow it to stand as a monument and take root.  It is our job to halt it and showcase it for the ineffectual threat it is to our state of grace and set it right shifting the course of our peaceful destiny action by action. It is our job to shine light on the experience with love returning to the ground of t...

We Need A Little Christmas.

Representing all the things I love; musical theater, magnificent leads, Jerry Herman music and lyrics, inspirational icons, and wonderful adaptations... There has been no greater inspiration than Lucille Ball, a trailblazer, a pioneer, a business woman, a mother, a comedienne, a wife, a lover and an entertainer. Here she is warming hearts and starring in a fantastic musical adaptation of Patrick Dennis' Auntie Mame! :Lucille Ball sings We Need a Little Christmas for the musical Mame: In honoring her spirit and the magnificent impact she has had on all of us who seek to lighten hearts with laughter, enjoy this tribute from the Kennedy Center Honors, a total throwback (check out Ronald and Nancy Reagon)...

Rise Up In All Your Glory

Image
"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." In honor of Nelson Mandela accentuate the positive... AFFIRM  Let me remember who I am. I AM HEART CENTERED Save me from myself Save me from my thinking Save me from my unmindful action Save me from being unloving I AM willing to consider the possibility there is another way. Allow me to see… with Love. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION RISE INTO YOUR MAGNIFICENCE TODAY. NOW. ALWAYS. A revolution takes place in the heart. It begins by hearing "Enough!" Enough of the thinking that lead me astray. Enough of the actions that keep me in my pattern. Enough of the behavior that blocks me from accepting what is being offered in every moment. It begins by opening up and being willing to see a situation free from past vision transforming all of it into "I am enough to make any change I want to see." Embark on a new cha...

Never Give Up!

Image
"Put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking cross the floor." If you've fallen down.  Get up. Brush yourself off and start all over again. If you don't think you can do it. You are wrong. If you've been told "It's not good enough." Get a second opinion. If you've done everything you can think of.   Let your heart lead the next action. If you can't go on. Don't. Stand and wait until you feel like you can go on. If you think you are too young, too old or too ugly to do something.  You are wrong. If you want to complain.  Stop. If you are you own worst enemy.  Become your own best friend. If you've gone as far as you can go. Take another step. If you are going through hell, keep on going. If you self sabotage, do one thing and self celebrate. If you are afraid, do one thing that scares you. Whatever you are feeling or thinking are experiencing.  Just remember, one foot goes in front of the other... Thanks to the w...
